ROCCASTRADA
In the heart of Maremma, the commune of Roccastrada is placed between Siena and Grosseto, in the province of Grosseto. Roccastrada has several hiking trails that run through the stunning colours of the countryside: endlessly shades of green, the yellow of the broom in blossom, the red of the poppies, the blue of the lilies that paint the fields on spring. There are many paths that you can do on foot, on horse back or in mountain bike, the paths, together with easier road routes, link together ruins of ancient castles, medieval villages, old parishes, imposing towers full of history that have kept intact their magical atmosphere.
